At Wait For It BBQ, we believe good things take time and great flavor takes patience.
What started as a simple backyard recipe has been refined over nearly a decade into something we are proud to share. Every batch is handcrafted in small quantities to make sure the flavor is exactly where it needs to be. Consistent, balanced, and worth coming back to.
Our sauce is built to be versatile. It is right at home on ribs, pulled pork, and brisket, but it does not stop there. Burgers, hot dogs, fries, even eggs. If it needs flavor, it works.
We set out to create something that sits right in the middle.

By day, I work as a systems engineer in the aerospace industry, solving complex problems, refining designs, and making sure everything performs exactly the way it should.
That same mindset carried over into this sauce.
What started as something I made for friends and family slowly turned into something people kept asking for again and again. Over time, I kept tweaking it, refining it, and dialing it in until it became what it is today.
For me, BBQ has always been more than just food.
It is the backyard. The lake. The pool. It is time with friends and family, good conversations, and food that brings people together.
At some point, it just clicked. If this sauce can be part of those moments for me, why not give other people the chance to create their own memories with it too?
I also wanted something that did not force a tradeoff.
A lot of lower calorie sauces miss on flavor. A lot of great tasting sauces go too far in the other direction. This sits right in the middle. Something you can enjoy often without thinking twice about it.
This is not just a product to me.
It is something I have spent years building and something I am genuinely excited to share.
